Our Story
Soundwave began with a friendship between two music therapists.
With over 20 years' combined experience across a variety of settings, Karen & Stephen shared a vision for what music therapy could look like in the Greater Jacksonville area. They wanted to increase access to music therapy for clients and organizations, while offering music therapists a nurturing place to practice, collaborate, and develop.
Since partnering in 2023, they have turned Soundwave into the largest music therapy practice in Northeast Florida and one of the fastest-growing programs in the industry.
